The Programs Offered by McGrath Training Systems

    • Athletic Liability – Designed to provide athletic directors, principals, and coaches with the legal requirements and guidelines regarding their duties and responsibilities for student and staff safety both on and off campus. A range of topics creates awareness of issues and circumstances which could put the employee and/or the district at risk for legal liability.
    • Bullying – Nearly every state has introduced or enacted bullying legislation that mandates school districts to intervene or prevent persistent, pervasive and/or severe acts of bullying action. Three training courses provide clear methods and procedures to meet those legal requirements and practical tools that participants implement to prevent and neutralize the effects of bullying. The interaction of human dynamics and defined legal requirements are combined to provide resolution of day to day issues and policy requirements that will create a safe and productive environment. Onsite, Online or Video material is delivered with quality, interactivity and in-depth coverage.
    • Discrimination – In-depth Discrimination Awareness is the key to understanding, identifying, and avoiding individual or organizational policies and actions that may lead to discrimination charges. All types of discrimination are covered, including discrimination on the basis of race, gender, age, disability and religion. Applicable laws and regulations are reviewed from a practical application aspect that will provide participants with tools to identify acts that may not comply with the law. Participants will know exactly what discrimination and harassment is, what their responsibilities are, and the initial steps to take if they observe discrimination and/or harassment or if an incident is brought to their attention by an employee.
    • Educator Liability – This program is for those who teach and supervise bands, choirs, drama clubs, debate teams, cheerleaders and spirit squads, field trips, school-to-work programs, and other non-classroom activities who have increased exposure to personal and school liability.
    • SUCCEED with TRUE-SPEAK® – McGrath SUCCEED Leadership program provides leaders with both practical tools and transformational approaches that allow them to communicate with and lead others to excellence. Honesty, compassion, accountability, as well as due process and just cause are at the core of every process. This systematic and ethical approach moves people past the dominance of individual interests to outstanding personal and organizational performance.
    • Performance Evaluation – This program is for School site administrators, central office administrators, and classified managers who desire to accelerate employee performance and create a culture of accountability through mastering the supervision, evaluation, and communication components of strong leadership.
    • Sexual Abuse & Misconduct – This is a three course program designed to provide school personnel with the knowledge, skills, procedures, and legally sound tools to prevent harm and provide a safe school and working environment. The courses are modular, made up of workshops, online classes, and videos that can function independently or as part of a complete system. We will customize the program to meet your needs and to the interests of a specific audience. This adds flexibility and ensures that the message will be received with clarity, impact and enthusiasm.
    • Sexual Harassment – Three courses are designed to define, identify, avoid, intervene, respond and investigate this critical behavioral. Knowledge, skills, procedures, and legally sound tools are delivered with practical applications that participants can immediately implement to provide a safe school and working environment. The program is modular, made up of workshops, online classes, and videos that can function independently or as part of a complete system. We will customize the program to meet your needs and to the interests of a specific audience to ensure the message will be received with clarity, impact and enthusiasm.
    • Employee Misconduct – Site administrators and supervisors are trained to logically analyze allegations of employee misconduct, interact with union representatives, properly document their investigatory procedures and findings and discuss the facts of the matter with the employee. McGrath Training Systems offers step-by-step training to equip administrators in fact-finding activities such as identifying potential witnesses to the alleged misconduct, any victims or systems impacted by the misconduct and interviewing witnesses, victims and the subject employee. The SUCCEED TRUE-SPEAK communications system is the foundation upon which employee misconduct investigations and discussions are constructed.
